Let's keep that short & simple.<br/><br/>I was determined to make it being a entrepreneur/Youtuber/etc. <br/>B/c I knew I'm going to go down this path less traveled. It's my path.<br/>It's interesting. Listening to well intentioned advice as a teen led me down a path that's no longer for me, & I realized it in my early 20s. Some of my mom's friends think I'll be good at jobs, but no thanks! My experiences at my schools jaded the normal path for me. I'll let them talk shit about me to each other & let them shoot the breeze at my expense. Love ya though. It's not the first or last time people will talk about me & I'm cool w/ it. Remember people wouldn't talk about or bother you if you were nothing. (& in some sense, people being jealous of you means you are going places in life. The celebrities you know & people who are successful didn't fit in w/ others, they stand out. Look at how many haters your favorite celebrities have & consider yourself going in the right direction).<br/><br/>The result from those school experiences was developing skills & mindsets that's not obvious & I don't talk about it (the list is still growing as I write this).Then I was like Universe, gimme a sign's more about developing skills, & letting the successes speak for itself. Learn to talk less & make more moves. <br/><br/>(Mindset) Success secret #4. It's too easy to take the crab in the barrel mentality route & drag someone down b/c you're down. Can you be one of those who elevates someone? Having a negative mindset towards others won't lead me to success.<br/><br/>P.S. 2. I'm still bad at asking for help. Just being honest. Why in the world do you all think I got content years in advance? If I don't make it happen, it won't. You literally got to take your destiny in your own hands. Have a great one.<br/><br/>P.S.3. I was given the same life script. I'm not an overnight success. <br/><br/>However there isn't enough ride or dies, or day 1 folks. Everyone wants to hop on the bandwagon day 400 and acted like they supported you the whole time, when they really didn't. This tough love from your girl might sound harsh, but I'm being for real with you. This same enthusiasm and energy needs to be a thing when a creative don't book the part, doesn't have a great day in business, even with a Youtuber who's starting out. This creative life ain't easy and it's not for everyone.<br/><br/>There needs to be cheering during the bad and ugly days too. Not just when you think there is something in it for you. Not just for the good days.It's not always pretty. There's not enough genuine energy or intentions out here.<br/><br/>Some of you went to school with me, you're not stupid. For a number of you, I'm the girl you took Tequila shots with?You were given the same life script I was. Go to school, graduate, get married, yadda. If you are following that and it makes you happy, great!!!! Or maybe you found out what I did. Listening to all that is not going to get me where I need to be. Listening to all that advice growing up made me the unhappiest I've ever been. I cut out my schools, my religion, my car I had at the time, everything. I rebelled. I do not mind being talked about by peers, mom friends or anyone, because living up to others expectations caused more harm to me than I care to admit. I'm very good at shutting out the excess noise. I took to heart the 5 regrets of the dying and ran with it.<br/><br/>When you go for it, you have to get used to being disliked by your peers. I will tell you I've been on the receiving end of nasty gossip throughout the years, because I didnt-don't want the same things my peers want. Then people you care about actually listen to that nonsense, and you have to cut them all out because they don't understand what you're trying to do. <br/><br/>I'm not a saint, a God, or Moses that parted the red sea. I went for it instead of trying to fit in the cliques or be liked. I decided a long time ago it's ok to be disliked, misunderstood, talked about like a dog and be lied on. I had a lot of periods where I distanced myself from people. (And after some of those messages I may do it again, WTF I'm no Youtube god. Omg)

I do keep a lot to myself, bc reaching out & asking for help too many times have lead to bad things, being made fun of, unnecessary grief and judgements. As a result, I figured out YouTube and many things in life on my own. I have developed a list of business skills that I don't talk about, if it's meant for you to find out you will. <br/><br/>I just think we need to extend each other some grace. Even if you don't understand why someone is taking a certain road, doesn't mean it's bad. It's not always for you to understand. You live your life and let others live theirs.<br/><br/>So favor, if you ever have a friend that tells you they want to create a iguana farm in Indonesia. Or wants to start a food truck? Or does something different than the society norms? Instead of calling them weird, delusional, strange? Keep your opinions and judgements to yourself. I have so many Youtubers with such unique niches that you would think no way, there's no way they are successful doing that, but they are. Yall, they got bigger followings than I do. But they also showed me what's possible. Once you are exposed to that, there's no going back, gloves are off. It's sometimes a matter of diving in, not knowing how the dots are going to connect. And having blind faith, believing in something and success that hasn't happened yet.
