After a successful inaugural season in 2023, Ambassador Cruise Line is set to return to Northern Ireland tomorrow (Wednesday) for a second season of sailings from Belfast Harbour.<br/><br/>Specialising in no-fly itineraries and offering authentic experiences, affordable quality and the warmest welcome at sea on adult-only sailings, Ambassador has six cruises departing from Belfast in the coming cruise season.<br/><br/>Having welcomed more than 3,500 guests from the region onboard last year, it is anticipated that many thousands more will enjoy the convenience of an amazing cruise holiday departing from a port that’s close to home in 2024.

Olyanovska said after the race.<br/><br/>'The most important thing is that I need to say a big thank you to my mother, my father, and the whole of Ukraine. It is a very emotional moment for me. <br/><br/>'Of course, I was tired in the last kilometer and last meters, but I wanted to win this medal for my country so much.'<br/><br/>Garcia-Caro could only look on in horror when it dawned on her she had just missed out on her first major medal.<br/><br/>Speaking after the event the Spaniard said: '‘I was really tired on the last lap. I did my best.'<br/><br/>‘The distraught look on Laura Garcia-Caro's face, she cannot believe it,’ said Tim Hutchings on BBC commentary.<br/><br/>‘Two metres from the line Garcia-Caro had her hands up in the air expecting to be on the podium.<br/><br/>‘She only realized with one stride to the line that Lyudmila Olyanovska was coming and she overhauled her!’<br/><br/>To the delight of the home crowd, the race was won by Italian Antonella Palmisano in 1hr 28.08min ahead of her countrywoman Valentina Trapletti, who claimed silver in 1:28.37.<br/><br/>Olyanovska, who served a four-year doping ban between 2015 and 2019, and Garcia-Caro were given the same times of 1:28.48.<br/><br/>But it was the athlete from Ukraine who added to her bronze medal from the 2015 World Championships.")
