Description: Gandhimoni Chakma is a Chakma refugee. His parents fled East Pakistan in 1964 and were settled in Diyun, Changlang District, Arunachal Pradesh (then known as North East Frontier Agency).Their land was submerged in the ensuing flood waters from Noa-Dihin river in 2004. 66 families settled at village Sukanalla and Madhunalla first temporarily but then stayed on as the Arunachal Government failed to provide them any alternative land.
