He was a renowned poet before the advent of Islam, but his embrace of the faith transformed his work and legacy. Let's journey through the heartwarming tale of Hazrat Hassan (MAPBUH), the first poet of Islamic history. Hazrat Hassan was born in Mecca, Arabia, in the 6th century. He came from a prestigious tribe and was known for his exceptional poetry skills, even before the arrival of Islam. His verses were recited and admired by many in the pre-Islamic era. Hassan's poetry was a reflection of his deep understanding of Arabic literature, culture, and the human experience. When the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) received his prophetic mission,as he began to use his talent to compose verses that praised the Prophet and the beauty of Islam. Thus, the first Naat (poems in praise of the Prophet) were born.
