La Birmanie (que l’on évitera d’appeler Myanmar), est un pays surprenant. Avant de partir là-bas, je ne connaissais rien de son histoire. A travers ce récit photographique, j’ai voulu montrer la beauté de ses paysages mais surtout la générosité de ses gens malgré les temps difficiles. Yangoon, le lac Inle, l’état Shan dans les montagnes, Bagan, Mandalay… chacun de ces endroits recelle une facette de la Birmanie très différente en passant de la tradition à la «modernité».
