Three or four years ago, knowing of my secret wish to play the drums, my husband Todd gave me a set for Christmas – which proceeded to sit in the loft for over a year. Finally deciding that it deserved to be played, and that I deserved to play it, I started taking lessons. Around the same time my friend Dorothy confessed that she had always wanted to play the guitar so we decided to learn and practice together. We had the best time and, even though we were mortified if anyone actually heard us
